Job description
Your key responsibilities as the Developer will be to build and manage the email campaigns and support the delivery of
offshore developments, including specialist deployment. You will be using the organisation’s preferred software –
Cheetahmail (Experian) to build and manage modular HTML emails with intense internal testing for the functional
performance. You will need to provide status reports every day and manage your timing on the job.
Key responsibilities and accountability
? Populate, develop and build responsive/modular HTML email templates using CheetahMail (Experian)
? Perform email campaign-specific quality assurance testing
? Manage data, including in-porting and exporting data from CheetahMail Schedule deployment
? Work with our client’s Campaign Managers to develop personalised/targeted campaigns using live/dynamic
content integrated web content, APIs, 3rd party apps (LiveClicker), working with digital team linking to integrated
web activity
? Adhere to production schedules and deadlines for all communications
? Perform A-B testing
? Collaborate and report to key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to consistently deliver quality
communications that support business objectives while adhering to industry best practices and design standards
? Provide sound best practice direction and solutions to email campaign related challenges
? Identify and promote opportunities to develop more engaging or interactive email using latest Kinetic techniques
? Identify email campaign related performance and report to superiors
? Support the implementation of new automated email programs
? Always look for opportunities for improvement in design, development and process and be confident as a
consultant to the client – it’s a collaborative environment where your ideas are welcomed
Requirements
Knowledge & Skills Required:
? Strong customer focus
? Good Knowledge of email platforms such as CheetahMail (Ideal but not essential), Mailchimp or Everlytic
? Hands-on experience with an email platform is required
? Attention to detail
? Excellent communication and influencing skills
? Proactive and able to work on own initiative
? Strong planning and prioritisation skills
? Good data analysis and interpretation skills
? A solid understanding of cross-browser/ platform issues, code solutions, best practices and the email guidelines/
standards
? Experience in an email marketing role – ideally within the corporate sector
? Wider knowledge of DM and digital marketing channels
? Competent using PC and Mac
? Good Knowledge of modular and responsive HTML and CSS for email marketing
? Any knowledge of Photoshop or Sketch is a bonus
