We are currently on the lookout for a mid graphic designer to join our small team in Cape Town (either freelance or permanent) to work on luxury and lifestyle hospitality brands.
Our ideal candidate has a natural talent and a disciplined approach to design, a keen eye for detail and craft and is competent in brand assets design, application and roll-out. They need to be open to creative direction and guidance, but also comfortable with working independently.
You’ll be working on a variety of aspects of luxury brand design; from brief to concept, visual identity design and brand development, to the application, set-up and delivery.
Required to be considered:
- Seven+ years in graphic design (but less than 15 years please)
- CS essential (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong design-driven portfolio with a less-is-more ethos
- Previous brand design agency experience
- Strategic, organised and technical approach to work and design
- High level of attention to detail, good with layout and spatial relationships
- Willingness to take creative direction, learn and work as a team
- Consistency in seeing projects through under pressure
- Ability to meet deadlines on time
- Motivated, keen to learn and self-disciplined individual
- Respect and passion for creating good graphic design
- Positive work ethic
