Our client, business consulting company, wishes to recruit a Portuguese and French speaking non-technical trainer to join their dynamic team. The right candidate will deliver face to face training according to the client’s specification and aligned to all policies and procedures. This role has day to day responsibility for implementation of robust working principles and best practices and report status of business critical KPIs regarding training provision.

Key duties:

  • Ensure deployment of appropriate training resources and deliver training in-line with the learning competencies
  • Liaising with local teams predominately via email and telephone
  • Deploy excellence programmes, using information gathered through market audits and build strong relationships with training representatives
  • Implement the ‘One Academy’ strategy in all markets, in order to facilitate a consistent approach to learning and development
  • Observe progress of dealer activities against agreed targets
  • Cooperate with the training delivery teams to ensure training needs are fully understood and all material needed is available
  • Track all training interventions by analysing performance metrics and review any additional training needs highlighted during the course of the programme
  • Support the Voice of the Market process by encouraging training representatives to communicate their requirements for new courses/materials, and progress their requests through the process

Qualification and experience:

  • Matric and tertiary qualification
  • Training and development experience with coherent blended learning approach to training solutions (Essential)
  • Awareness of automotive retail processes and factors influencing competence development

Key competencies:

  • Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills in both French and Portuguese
  • Proficient in MS Office applications]
  • An excellent coach and highly able to delegate and lead teams during face-to-face learning
  • Exceptional influencer and motivator at all levels of the business
  • Client-focussed with high degree of attention to detail.
  • Must be able to travel within Southern Africa
