Job description
Job purpose: Responsible for generating and maximising government/direct business revenue for a commercial radio station based in Limpopo (advertising sales and sponsorship).
Requirements
Competency requirements:
- Valid drivers licence
- Own reliable transport
- Tertiary qualifications in sales/marketing advantageous
- Computer literate
- Self-starter
- Strong sales skills and motivation
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Well-presented and excellent presentation skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- High level of organisational and effective time-management skills
- Be proactive, demonstrate creative initiative and passion for the brand
- Team player with positive attitude
- High personal standard of excellence
- Meets deadlines and be detail oriented
- Have initiative and a strong work ethic
- Ability to handle and overcome change
- Minimum two years of media sales experience (preferred)
