“Unleash your Inner Innovator”

“Every one of us has an innovator inside, the question is whether yours needs a wake up call, or simply a tune up so your ideas have greater impact. Come and find out. To explain a bit more, I plan a highly interactive hour covering the issue of “Unleash your inner innovator,” drawing parallels to how UNICEF’s work enables that, including with researchers in China and South Africa at RUBIC, with young social entrepreneurs through programmes like UPSHIFT, and through scaling up platforms like RapidPro that empower governments and others to compress time and get real time insights and take action. I will also cover the important bridging of research/invention across to innovation and applied research, where efforts of researchers and academia can really make a difference to people’s lives. And hopefully inspire everyone regardless of what work they do, that they can do more with their ideas, and that there is no limit to good ideas.”
