SA Army Development Programme

For 2015/2016 period, SA Army opens up the opportunities for those who are interested in the military. However, these opportunities are specific to South African citizens. This is the most appropriate program in order to improve the military skills. The program ends on 28 February 2015, so you have to prepare an application from now on. It is under the auspices of the Military Skills Development System (MSDS) with direct responsibility of the government. This is one of the government’s strategy for improving security and national defense. It is specially made for the youth with the training period for 2 years. In the first year, the candidates will get the basic training includes Functional Training and Basic Military.

For the South African youth, be prepared to serve the country in a military uniform. To join this department, you must be aged over 18 years and should not be more than 22 years. For you who have a bachelor degree, the maximum age allowed is 25 years old. These programs are preferred to those of you who have not married. Therefore, for a single man, you have a great opportunity to join the SA Army. Additionally, you should not have a criminal record if you want to be accepted by the department. The other requirement is that you must meet the medical criteria that have been determined.

The operation of SA Army includes the land area. This is the reason why the candidates will be provided with basic education to combat forces. Furthermore, the application documents must be accompanied by Curriculum Vitae and a copy of an official Educational Certificate. Download the SA Military Skills Development Application Form and then sent at Private Bag X 981, Pretoria, 0001. The applications will immediately be submitted to the Human Resources Department of the SA Airforce. If there are information you need, visit the website at www.army.mil.za or www.dod.mil.za. If your application is accepted, you will get a confirmation from the department on 31 October 2015.
