 SALES AND MARKETING EXECUTIVE AND INTERNS

Palace Group is recruiting for a self-driven marketing graduate, with proven skills and capabilities in group presentations, leadership, creativity, e-sales, tele-sales, digital-sales and multi-tasking. The graduate must have a strong character and be self-motivated

This vacancy is for an industry specific consumer e-commerce business as well as related projects such as a professional magazine (consumer publication), workshops and training, as well as direct sales to businesses.

  • A minimum of 18 months previous work experience in sales or marketing full time or part time with traceable references ) including telesales experience
  • Strong MS Office with Power Point skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Energetic and creative
  • Must show initiative
  • Good multi-tasking abilities
  • Be able to work independently as well as be a team player

Work within the project team within the company with the following tasks amongst others:

  • Capture and update relevant customer data and input on the relevant systems within the business’s own set up
  • Oversee and track marketing promotional campaigns, targets, deadlines and sales pitches and presentations
  • Tracking promotional and media placements according to the schedule and budget allowed include reporting monthly
  • Conducting brand audits to ensure compliance with the brand strategy within the specific areas of the business
  • Assisting in the co-ordination of sales presentations, training workshops etc
  • Coordinate magazine activity and distribution for marketing purposes with magazine team (editor)
  • Prepare products marketing presentations and assist manager (s) and project with same
  • Updating and drawing reports on customers and partners monthly
  • Maintenance of literature including catalogues, leaflets, profiles, brochures etc.
  • Maintenance and updating of promotional items
  • Coordinate with suppliers according to the supplier policy
  • Maintain corporate standards, artwork and design material for the ecommerce, magazine, workshops and related projects and sub projects
  • Maintain Marketing Calendar and Events lists

In general, assist the project leader as well as the managers in all marketing and brand communications support functions and other duties as they relate to main role

Mandatory qualification

A degree in B comm marketing with excellent results

Additional qualifications advantageous

Initial 12 month period with possibility of extension solely based on business need and performance

Start date: Immediate

Remuneration: Negotiable

Must be willing to work flexible hours to meet tight deadlines
