Job description

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for our company’s social media clients and brands. You will also be responsible for regularly evaluating the success of the marketing efforts and tweaking the marketing strategy as needed per brand.

You will be working on some industry leading brands. We are looking for a responsible dedicated individual, with the necessary experience.

Requirements

Social media copywriting:
Deliver compelling written content for clients – creative copywriting is essential
Compilation of solid content calendars
Content scheduling:
Schedule social media posts through various platforms – being meticulous is key here
Making last minute changes when needed to adapt to ever changing environment

Providing strategic input:
Compile social media strategies that are creative and continually push the clients’ brands
Provide input and ideas around engagement promotions that bring in top results
Bring new ideas to the table in order for us to stay ahead of the curve and grow our client brand

Social media maintenance:

Monitor user engagement, and follow strict social media escalation protocols
Compile easy-to-understand monthly reports
Liaise with PMAC’s campaign managers to ensure precise planning is always followed, and lead the design team

Requirements:
Relevant bachelors degree would be beneficial
Experience in participating in social media on behalf of clients (two years)
Digital copywriting experience (two years)
Adobe Creative Suite know-how (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign): basic – intermediate proficiency
Previous experience compiling surveys through Survey Monkey
A general understanding of the terms ORM, SEO, PPC, CPM, etc.

Advantageous

Digital agency experience (two years)
Broad experience across all digital trades (one – two years)
