South 32 2017 Job Vacancy Specialist Commercial – Johannesburg

POSITION SYNOPSIS:

To provide projects coordination and contracts management support to the commercial planning and integration sub-function.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Serious contenders will have a Degree/BTECH/National Diploma in Commercial/ Engineering/ Marketing / Finance with at least 4 years’ relevant industry experience of which 2 years should be in a commercial or projects environment;
• Experience in contract management is essential;
• Experience in working with a high degree of stakeholders and senior executives is essential.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Provide commercial project governance support to the Commercial Planning and Integration team;
• Act as a quality controller for commercial business cases and scope of works before projects move into commercial planning and execution;
• Develop, publish and manage tenders and their commercial evaluation in line with sourcing projects;
• Manage assigned portfolio of suppliers supporting the business, ensuring optimal service delivery;
• Coordinate the technical and any other non-commercial evaluation of tenders prior to negotiation;
• Conduct and lead negotiations with suppliers post tender evaluation;
• Perform supplier selection, qualification and on-boarding in line with local requirements and regulation;
• Coordinates the post divestment/investment monitoring and closeout processes;
• Executes supplier performance reviews to track performance with contract and business requirements.
