Unisa opens applications for 2017

Thinking of studying at Unisa next year? Now is the time to apply for the academic programme of your choice.

Unisa has opened another round of applications for both undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications from 7 November to 25 November 2016.

According to Unisa’s Website, “Everyone wanting to start a new qualification must apply for admission. This includes first-time Unisa applicants and Unisa students changing to a new qualification.”

Students can now apply for a maximum of two qualifications which are to be selected in order of preference. This option allows more students to secure a seat in 2017.

Unisa is one of the biggest correspondence universities in the world and the largest university in South Africa. Undergraduate programmes include higher certificates, diplomas, bachelor degrees, Btechs and Post Graduate Certificates.

Best known for offering university level qualifications through a distance learning platform Unisa makes learning more affordable and accessible to prospective students.

Long distance study requires a great deal of determination and commitment but it also offers flexibility. More people are making use of distance and online learning programmes that can fit around their busy schedules.

If you have decided to further your studies through correspondence courses you can submit your application online or through the Unisa self-help terminals.
