INTRODUCTION
Lucerne Transport has a vacancy available in Wynberg Sandton to handle Administration duties as well as to communicate with any drivers experiencing delays for 3 month FTC, in order to accurately brief controllers about delayed vehicles.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- Tertiary Qualification beneficial
- 2 years Administrative Experience
Job Specification
- Hourly position update on all trucks.
- Monitor and report any delays /customer standing times to controllers.
- Communicate with any drivers experiencing delays, in order to accurately brief controllers about delayed vehicles.
Assist controllers with:
- Preparations of relevant operational administrative and loading instruction documents.
- Communicating with drivers of delayed vehicles to determine
- Handling queries relating to the day to day operation of their controller’s fleet.
- Expediting vehicle dispatches out of depots, especially early morning departures.
- Executing operational instructions received from controllers during night shift and week-ends.
Assistant controllers will work in shifted operations, and will be required to work 2 weekends per month as well as night shift
