University of Limpopo VLIR project’s first academic workshop

The University of Limpopo VLIR project host its first academic workshop on Research, Learn and Teach the Nation.’

The Two-day academic workshop will be based on research and teaching matters at university level with the aim of improving teaching and learning as well as research at the University of Limpopo.

About the facilitator:
Prof Dr. Martin Valcke a full professor in the field of ‘Instructional Sciences’ at the Ghent University, Belgium. He also heads the Department of Educational Studies in the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the university. Building on his PhD work in the field of Educational Information Sciences, his current research focuses on the innovation of Higher Education and the integrated use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). In addition, he has interests in performance indicators, teacher education, ICT in primary schools, learning styles and learning approaches.

  • Postgraduate Researchers: Writing research proposals, research methodology, literature review etc.
  • Academic staff: Teaching and learning (methods, assessments etc.)
  • Postgraduate Students Supervisors

Venue: University of Limpopo, Science Education Centre
Time: 08h00- 15h00 (Space limited to 60 people, refreshment will be served)
