University of the Wits Equality Scholarships
The Equality Scholarship is an initiative led by the Wits Vice-Chancellor that recognizes the benefits of student support as a major contributor to social upliftment, and has highlighted student support as a key investment area at Wits University.
Outstanding students from disadvantaged backgrounds who qualify for the Equality Scholarship will be offered a full scholarship.
The extent of the bursary is aimed to help outstanding students concentrate on their studies without the burden of financial worries.
It is an attempt by Wits University to assist in addressing inequality in our society.
