Job description

Getit Jo-burg north is looking for a journalist for lifestyle publications focusing on features to join a dynamic team behind Caxton community newspapers award winning magazines.

The candidate will be responsible for:

Writing features that are accurate
Coming up with new and fresh ideas
Doing interviews

Requirements

Two years’ journalism experience (preferably in the magazine field)
Be computer literate
Be creative
Be organised and pay meticulous attention to detail
Have interest in lifestyle magazines
Be a team player
Have an interest in lifestyle magazines and topics

Advantageous

Have the ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines

Personal Skills/Attributes

Have interest in lifestyle magazines
Must have own reliable car
