Based in Sabie, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of critical functions within the Forestry Division. These functions include planning management, environmental management, technical wood studies, nursery management and tree breeding.
Requirements include:
- Grade 12 and relevant post graduate technical qualification
- At least 10 years relevant operation and management experience
- Excellent MS Office skills (advanced Excel)
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
- Focused on value creation through optimization and good corporate governance
- Driven, proactive and disciplined
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to interact effectively and professionally at all levels
- High energy levels and willing to go the extra mile, motivated, and independent thinker
- Ethical, presentable and able to represent York in a professional manner
