Call for comments: Proposed 2019 School Calendar for Public Schools

Mrs Angelina Matsie Motshekga, Minister of Basic Education, acting in terms of Section 3(4)(k) of the National Education Policy Act, 1996, and after consultation with the Council of Education Ministers, hereby publishes the Proposed 2019 School Calendar set out in the Schedule for comments.

All persons with a particular interest in school calendars are invited to comment in writing on the proposed school calendar.

• All comments must reach the Department of Basic Education no later than 19 April 2017.
• Kindly provide the name, address, telephone number, fax number and or email address of the person or organisation submitting the comments.
