As pioneers in the EdTech industry, we see it as our responsibility to showcase what bursaries are all about. With that concept driving us, the EduOne Technology Bursary is the most kickass bursary program around!

The EduOne Technology Bursary is for people who are passionate about education and believe in the power of technology to transform our world for the better. It’s for the young, ambitious, entrepreneurial students who want to work hard and grow fast.

As part of the program you will have access to our national network of mentors. You’ll be required to participate in our bi-annual internship, where you’ll work alongside the EduOne team, learning how a modern tech startup functions. You’ll also have the opportunity to influence what products and features we build, and have first access to everything.

Service contract

You will be required to work at EduOne after your studies for 6 months for every 1 year we fund you. During this time you will be paid a market-related salary.

Qualifying criteria

We’re less concerned with academic marks than you might expect, and more concerned with a demonstration of intelligence. Obviously we’re looking for someone smart, who can add value to our organisation and to the world at large. If you’ve got good marks, that could demonstrate your intelligence. If not, show us you’re clever in a different way – perhaps a well-written motivation letter, a killer CV or tell us you’re awesome and we’ll look for that spark in an interview! Also note that we give no preference to any demographic or backgrounds.

Allowance details

We will cover all the costs of your studies, as well as textbooks, accommodation, and some disposable income. We also offer an incentive program where we will contribute towards you traveling overseas at the end of your studies for achieving great academic and other results.
