The Qualifications For Bursary

  • Applicants must be South African citizen with valid ID number
  • Applicants must have good personality, good leadership, sociable and a teamwork player
  • Applicants with needy financial status and qualified will be given properties
  • For Matriculants, applicants must study toward a Chartered Accountancy qualification, must intend to study full-time at any South Africa Institution Of Chatered Accountant accredited institution, must have obtained minimum Level 6 in Mathematics and English and overall average of 70%
  • For university students, must be studying towards Chartered Accountancy stream, have been accepted at an SAICA accredited university, first year students must have pass all courses with average minimum of 65%. Second year students must have pass all courses with average minimum of 60%. For third and fourth year students must pass all courses average minimum of 55%

Pricewaterhouse Cooper bursary may only cover some portion of academic expenses, e.g. tuition fees, accommodation fees and books. Successful bursars will be required to work for Pricewaterhouse Cooper in training contract and will be supported to furthermore education in areas that is directly  after joining PwC.
