We have an opportunity for a Software Implementation Specialist. This incumbent will be required to travel both locally and regional for the implementation of operational software within the business. Please see the job specifications below for more details.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Project delivery qualification is an advantage
- A good understanding of Transport Management systems will be an advantage
- Passport, Drivers license and own vehicle is a requirement.
- 1 year experience
- Proven successful IT Project Management skills
- Computer literate.
- Strong Analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple implementations simultaneously will be required.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
- Advanced excel skills.
- Achievement driven.
Job Specification
- Apply IT Project Management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to IT System implementations, ensuring projects are delivered within scope, budget and on time.
- Implementation of new operational software.
- End user training.
- End user support.
- Prepare, maintain and control project plan and time scales
- Prepare timely and accurate implementation progress reports
- Escalate of project related issues
- Support project management activity for new business initiatives
- Master the capabilities of the system and advice customers on how to most effectively use the solution
