NSFAS chairperson – Mr Sizwe Nxasana – has announced to unsuccessful applicants who would like to appeal their failed applications, that they can do so by lodging appeals to NSFAS through the appeals process. Addressing the media on Sunday, 19 February 2017 at GCIS, Pretoria, Nxasana said NSFAS has counted more than 50 000 unsuccessful applicants – most of whom were notified last week. “Unsuccessful applicants are encouraged to lodge an appeal by downloading the appeals form on the NSFAS website www.nsfas.org.za. Once a student has downloaded the form, they need to fill it in, and email it to appeals@nsfas.org.za together with their recommendations. Appeals should reach NSFAS on or before 28 February 2017”. While new students can appeal through NSFAS, returning students will appeal at their respective institutions
