LAUNDRY WORKERS – JOHANNESBURG ACADEMIC HOSPITAL

REQUIREMENTS : Abet with at least 0 – 2 years in industrial laundry experience. Ability to liaise with
all stake holders. Ability to do physical labour. Must be a team player. Basic
communication skills and basic numeracy skills. Knowledge of Batho Pele
Principles.
DUTIES : Assist with loading clean linen on trolleys and deliver to dispatch area. Ensure
work area is cleaned twice daily. Sort and count soil linen. Collect washed linen
from machines and load onto trolleys. Inform senior supervisor immediately of
any problems encountered. Assist in daily functions of the laundry. Execute all
legal instructions by supervisor or management
